The event organizer, Avi, is a older Sephardi man. Seems to be in his late 50’s. He announces “We will now say prayers in the dining room. Men are requested to go there now. And any women who want to can come also.” I don’t know what makes me more angry: his announcement, or the fact that only a handful of women bother to get up and go.
